Guide to use:
Locate the central beam of the tool beneath the engine and gearbox and attach to the vehicle using the sturdy hook. Tighten the nut of the hook to raise the central crossbeam to the underside of the vehicle. For best results locate the hook in a suitable hole or anchorage point on the subframe as close as possible to the engine.
Once the central crossbeam is loosely fitted beneath the vehicle, raise the jack until the pad is located on the underside of the engine.
Adjust the threaded shafts at the rear of the support tool until both threaded shafts contact the body of the vehicle, taking care to avoid any critical components such as brake pipes, fuel lines and electronic components or wiring. The arms of the tool can be extended or retracted to access the most suitable location for each of the supports.
Raise the jack until the weight of the engine is fully supported by the tool.
